Marty Kral is the music department chair for Ashland High School. He directs the high school's bands, teaches guitar and music tech courses, and is a producer of the media arts program. In addition to his teaching duties, Marty serves as the district fine arts coach. He has served as a guest clinician at the Ohio Music Education Association State Conference, National Technology Institute for Music Educators Conference, Ohio Arts Education Association Conference, and Ohio Educational Technology Conference. He holds a BM from Ashland University, an MA from Nova Southeastern University, and teacher leadership endorsement from Concordia University. He serves on various committees for the Ashland County Community Foundation and Ashland University and is a former board member of the Ohio Alliance for Arts Education.
