Pablo Salinas is a professor of Spanish language, Hispanic cultures, and literatures at Shawnee State University. He earned his MA in études hispaniques at the Université de Montréal and his Ph.D. in Spanish, literature, and culture, at the University of Ottawa. He has published academic articles on Latin American literature and film, as well as short stories in Spanish, English, and French. His areas of interest include cultural production relating to national/international migration, music, and creative writing. He also serves as director of the honors program at Shawnee State University.
