Rebecca Burcher was born and raised in northern California and attended Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania. She graduated summa cum laude with a BA in dance and a BS in community programs for Americans with disabilities with a specialization in adapted physical activity. She combined those degrees and worked as a teaching assistant for organizations in Pittsburgh and Cleveland. Rebecca has taught dance, arts and crafts, theater, improvisation, Spanish, ASL, and meditation to more than 12,000 learners ages 0-93. She has served as a consultant for Rainey Institute, Buck Out Cleveland, the Cleveland Metropolitan School District, the Center for Arts-Inspired Learning, and the Young Innovators Collective to provide organizational support and staff professional development.
