Stephanie Matthews is the executive director of A Tribe for Jazz, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to preserving the legacy of jazz and advancing its future through performance, education, and community engagement. As a creative producer and arts administrator, she has developed innovative programs that merge arts, technology, and learning, most notably Jazz Lab™ — an immersive, Battelle-funded initiative honored by leaders from Congress to County. Stephanie is a champion for equity and access, building cross-sector partnerships with COSI, Columbus City Schools, the PAST Foundation, Columbus Recreation and Parks, and area universities. Her leadership has been supported by major grants and honors, including the Greater Columbus Arts Council's Thrive grant, positioning her as a trusted voice at the intersection of arts, education, and social impact.
