Bowsher High School Jazz Band
The Bowsher High School Jazz Band is a small ensemble at Bowsher High School in the Toledo Public Schools (TPS). In addition to performing at school concerts, the jazz band can be seen annually at Tony Packo’s Cafe for the TPS Jazz Fest and at other festivals and events around the Toledo area. The band performs a wide variety of styles of jazz music and consists of Bowsher students who are looking to enhance their playing and performance skills.
Children's Theatre Workshop
Toledo’s Children's Theatre Workshop (CTW) has provided theatre education to Toledo-area youth since 1954. CTW’s adult and child performers produce 10 youth plays each year, one touring production, a theatre for social change play, and a full summer of camps. CTW's outreach programs collaborate with schools, libraries, and other youth organizations to take theatre education wherever young people are. El Corazón de Mexico Ballet Folklorico
Toledo’s revered "El Corazón de Mexico" Ballet Folklorico demonstrates the beauty and charm of Mexico with vibrant costumes and a repertoire of more than 100 captivating dances. The group, made up of adults and youths from Northwest Ohio, performs at festivals, cultural celebrations, and a variety of other events. Nancy Lendrim
Nancy Lendrim has been principal harpist of the Toledo Symphony Orchestra since 1980. A graduate of the Oberlin Conservatory of Music and the Cleveland Institute of Music, she has also performed with The Cleveland Orchestra, Atlanta Symphony, and the Erous world premiere performances. She has appeared as a performer, presenter, and clinician at both regional and national harp conferences and is currently a member of the music faculty at the University of Toledo and at Heidelberg College.
